Using the Global Online Academy’s Catalyst Conference as a lens, this workshop will focus on intentionally designing courses to empower students as change agents. If you’re interested in helping your students become advocates, social entrepreneurs, or even just socially-conscious citizens, we encourage you to attend. The workshop will have three main components: 1) fostering students’ self-awareness and agency as change agents; 2) designing experiences that give students real-world practice; 3) discussing pitfalls that may emerge and how to keep them from derailing your project.
