Teach Glocally!: Geographic & Cultural Diversity

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This is meant to be a resource for those interested in learning about how to leverage the power of various regions and countries represented in your international classroom.  Teaching a course on a global issue can be really exciting, but it can be even more fruitful when you can use the diversity in your classroom to engage students in those global issues.  In this session I will share some ideas for how to raise your students glocal awareness in the online classroom.

Whether you attend the session in person at Islandwood or you interact with it at another time and place, we hope this gives you some ideas for how you might use engage your students in their local world to create global connections with others.

This session will be taking place on Zoom.  Click here to join.

If you're unable to make it to the synchronous session, please feel free to engage with this asynchronous session on Canvas.
